Secure checkout by Stripe. During the pilot, we set up your workspace personally after checkout, usually within one business day.

Nonprofits, teachers, and schools: $0. Always.

  • No fee to create a profile
  • No fee to verify
  • No fee to apply
  • No percentage of any award, ever

A plain promise: if anyone ever asks you to pay to release a grant, it is not us.

Schools and districts are seekers too, seeking is free for them exactly as it is for you. The District Administration plan above is an administration purchase for a district office, not a seeker fee, and no school needs it to post needs, apply, or receive funds.

Transaction fees, in plain words

  • When you pay a grant through GrantTitan, the GrantTitan transaction fee is 2.5% of the award, charged on top of it, the recipient always receives 100% of the award.
  • Payment processing is a flat 3% of the award, and the funder pays that on top too, one rate, whatever payment method the funder uses. No per-method breakdown, no caps to decode.
  • In-kind and volunteer awards carry a flat $25 handling fee, paid by the funder. The recipient pays nothing.
  • Your subscription is a flat price, processing is not itemized on subscription charges.

Platforms that deduct their fee from the grant take 5–12% plus processing out of the recipient’s money before it arrives. GrantTitan’s fee is paid by the funder, on top, the award itself is never touched. Fees paid by funders are what keep GrantTitan free for nonprofits, teachers, and schools.

Pilot pricing for early funders and districts, these are the rates in effect during the pilot. Pilot funders keep their starting rate for the first year.

Trust, verification & security

GrantTitan’s credential is not a badge we bought, it is a record you can read. Every verified profile names the source it was checked against and the date it was checked. This is the short version; the full page explains every rule.

Verified from named sources

  • Checks run automatically against the IRS tax-exempt organization database, verified school-system records, and the organization’s email domain, and fail closed, with the plain reason, if they cannot pass.

Security, in plain words

  • Multi-factor authentication, role-based access, encryption in transit and at rest, and a full audit log of who saw what.

Money & students

  • Seekers pay $0, and no student names, photos, grades, or records appear anywhere on the platform.
Applying and verifying are always free. GrantTitan never charges a fee to release funds, and will never ask for gift cards, wire transfers, or your password by email. If someone asks you for any of those, it is not us.

On certifications, plainly: we are building our controls toward SOC 2 Type II. GrantTitan is not SOC 2 certified, and we will not claim to be until an independent audit is complete.

Proof, not promises

Advance-fee grant scams dress up in borrowed badges. GrantTitan displays no certification logos at all, only claims you can check yourself, in one click, at the source. Our seal appears only where a check has actually run, and every check names its source.

IRS records

Nonprofit status is checked against IRS Tax Exempt Organization records.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. GrantTitan never holds grant funds and never sees or stores card numbers.

Schools & privacy

No student names, photos, or records, anywhere, by design. We are ready to sign the National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA) with any district.

What we hold, and what we don’t

Every certification we’ve earned, and the ones still in progress, are listed on our Trust & Security page. We claim only what we hold.
